Three shapes, one console

The first control picks the shape. Shape 1 takes a score, a shortfall and a pass percentage. Shape 2 takes two percentages and a shortfall in marks. Shape 3 takes two pass rates and the overlap, and applies inclusion-exclusion. Switch between them on comparable numbers to see how differently each reads.
