Successive discounts, one at a time

Set a marked price and up to three discounts. Each step applies one discount to the price the previous step left, and the console reports both the running equivalent percentage and what simply adding the discounts would have claimed. Set the third discount to 0% for a two-discount question.

The last line always compares the true equivalent against the sum. The gap widens sharply as the individual discounts get bigger — try 50% and 50%.
